FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 3, 2003 Release # 38-1203
Mandatory Cola lovers and recovering former alcoholics are in for an x-treme treat! Mandatory Cola is launching its newest and thus-far its most extreme new soda, MC 'Nilla, an artifically-vanilla-flavor-ignited new Mandatory Cola, to consumers across the United States.
Combining the pure, liquid awesomeness of Mandatory Cola with a bold and manufactured vanilla flavor, MC 'Nilla will be available in 24-ounce plastic bottles, with plans to expand into three-liter plastic bottles and 17-packs of 13-ounce aluminum cans. "MC 'Nilla will take drinkers to a plane of existence with the barely legal x-tremities in every drop," said Jay Allman, chief marketing officer for Mandatory Cola. "Consumers and our marketing team have been clamoring for more x-treme 'flave' options in the Mandatory Cola family, so we've developed MC 'Nilla as a funky, hip brew that satisfies their thirst for artificially-manufactured vanilla flavoring and builds on their passion for Mandatory Cola."
"To the x-treme," he added.
MC 'Nilla will be broadly targeted to teens and young adults, the group commonly referred to as "Generation Z" by the Mandatory Cola marketing department. It will be supported with an aggressive, "100% x-treme" marketing plan, including TV, radio, online, outdoor and point-of-sale advertising.
Containing the same base ingredients and caffeine levels as a classic, delicous ice-cold Mandatory Cola, MC 'Nilla is Mandatory Cola's fourth line extension since the introduction of Diet Mandatory Cola in 1991, joining the likes of other x-treme brands such as X-TREME Diet MC, Cryztal Mandatory Cola™™™, MC M.D., MC CODE X-TREME TO THE MAXX, and the recent MC Magenta.
